Getting Bin Laden, IMO, will do absolutely nothing to alleviate terrorist threats, and may actually hurt them by making a martyr out of him -- unless we can dismantle the ENTIRE Afghanistan setup. The masterminds behind the terrorist attack are probably well away from Afghanistan laughing their heads off. Bin Laden is probably just a figurehead that also conveniently provides some of the money.
