The reason his opinion is not popular is that it is a bad idea. Americans are plenty pissed. A focused, concentrated effort to eliminate terrorism is the correct response. Make people choose sides and then go after the problem.

You and the other fellow will apparantly feel good based on the number we kill as opposed to the effectiveness of the operation. Kind of creepy, and fortunately un-American to most of us.
