It would be masterful if this were a ruse... focus everyone on Bin Laden and Afghanistan with the real military action hitting Iraq and taking out Hussein.

I doubt that this is the case unfortunately.

Seems Bin-Laden's network was at least a facilitator and it would be good to disable that by at a minimum extraditing him and bombing his camps and the like. But he might not be "the prime suspect". His statement of "I didn't plan this" could be true. So they won't want to hand him over even to the non-Kaffir Pakistanis. We'll see.
