I know, the fact that I'm panicing probably means we've hit the bottom. HOWEVER: I believe we're in an unprecedented situation. Everybody and his brother is rattling off statistics about how the market was up x% twelve months after this war started and y% 18 months after that war started. Isn't that an indicator that I'm right to panic? <g> --QS

Dear Charles: I'm waiting for Greenspan's "Irrational Gloom" speech. Hey, that was A GOOD ONE!!! I think we are seeing the beginnings of PANIC right here on our SUNW thread. Perhaps the bottom is near now. In any event, I think us older people who have been through a few wars need to reassure the YOUNGENS that we will survive and come out stronger then ever. Thats the way its always been and the way it always will be. Even the President of Pakistan understands that. Incidentally, I thought he gave a really moving speech to his people this morning, made even me feel bad for him. JDN
