Everything is relative.. Gold stocks are up 55% since the low in November 2000 while gold is up 14% in the same period. That is a ratio of almost 4:1 which is normal.

Gold had to catch up.

You can be sure that if gold continue upward from here, gold stocks performances will be 3-4 times better than gold .
