Fascinating article from Jane's Foreign Report on who is behind it: janes.com Al-Qaeda is clearly implicated, but bin Laden's direct role is secondary to Al Zawahiri, now positioned as bin Laden's heir apparent. Hezbollah is identified as equally involved in 9-11, and Iraq is specified as the sponsor (Qusai Hussein, son of Saddam, serving as the terror-master for the operation). Israeli intelligence (Mossad and Aman, the source behind Jane's report) have told anyone who will listen that S. Hussein has decided -- just in the last year -- to use terror organizations as an arm of his military policy. Nothing I've written here is intended to exculpate bin Laden or Taliban. We'll need a can of Raid, not just a roach motel, to eliminate this infestation from the earth. P.
