Unfortunately, the fault lines in the Middle East will be drawn around the issues both of terrorism and the US supported politics of the area during the last forty years. I don't see how it is possible to discuss the issues confronting us as a nation at this moment.... by "roping off" a huge area of very real discontent in this landscape. Every Muslim voice I hear addresses this issue. Very odd American voices seem muted on the issue.

With all due respect finaly I hope we do get some new American foreign imperatives here "... where everything is on the table".

Very interesting foruum. Keep it going.

With best wishes

Clark
