Weekly American Gas Storage Survey
Published: 9/7/01

Report of Estimated US Working Gas Levels In Underground Storage as of 9:00 AM Friday Week Ending September 14, 2001

For a number of reasons primarily related to the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the posting of the American Gas Storage Survey for the week ending September 14 will not be posted today, September 19, at 2 p.m. We expect to post tomorrow, September 20, at 11:30 a.m.

This decision was made by AGA staff members that have not reviewed the reported data. The decision was made at the request of the New York Mercantile Exchange which is located at the World Trade Center Complex, and after discussions with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and legal counsel.

We plan to be able to post at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow. In accordance with the previously published procedures, if we are not able to post the storage survey at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow, we will do our best to update this notice at 11:30 a.m. or as soon as possible after 11:30 a.m.
