Look at the history of terrorism! How many acts of terrorism are committed by Mexicans, Chinese, Vitnamese, Canadaians, Russians, or Moldavians etc, etc? None! Now how many terroirst acts are committed by Arabs and Moslem? Alost 100%!

Sure, this is true if you define terrorism the way the U.S. media defines it: a hostile act committed by an Arab or a Muslim. This semantics game is convenient. However, if you go with a normal definition -

ter·ror·ism (tr-rzm) n.

The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

- suddenly your neat little world doesn't make quite as much sense.

Hi Yaacov; A couple of white high school students pulled off a suicide mass murder in Colorado a few years ago. That didn't have anything to do with any foreigners at all, as far as I can tell.

Human beings are nasty.

--Islam has declared war on the civilized world--

i noticed that in 1999 you were all for the kla; what happened to that?

if memory serves, you even went around telling people who disagreed with you that their mothers were 'cows.'

I don't know either. There are no good apples to replace those we would have thrown out. And at least Saddam keeps Iran in check. A weak Iraq means Iran controls the Gulf!

As to abridging our civil liberties, I wouldn't have it. I don't mind waiting an extra two hours at the airport, nor do I mind roaming wiretaps (they still have to get a court order to get the tap to begin with.) But I don't want to see effective suspension of habeus corpus because some nut wants to kill us all. Let's try reviewing entry visas first, eh? We have to submit to a background check to buy a firearm in the United States, but we don't do jack to check up on those entering the country, to see if maybe they would want to blow up a building or two. Now that is silly.

I don't know how it is in Italy (you're still in Italy, aren't you?). But I think some common sense precautions would go a long way. Many of these people, as we are seeing with investigations in the US and Europe, are right under our noses and found easily enough - if our law enforcement and intelligence agencies get off their asses. This will be the largest global sting operation ever mounted, and we will (with a bit of Delta Force action if necessary) break the back of the terrorist network.
