Then you seemed to be dismissing the idea that Christians could be harassed There is a difference between encouraging restraint and harassment. Leaders are supposed to know the difference and communicate that to the masses when the masses get carried away with themselves. It is one thing to deal with fear and death with religion, either individually or in groups. That's what's been going on this week. I don't see a problem with that. It is another thing entirely to go into battle invoking the backing of God or claiming that God is on one's side. This is particularly problematic for a country with a variety of religions, one of which is the religion of the opposition, who are also claiming God as theirs. Somebody, like maybe Billy Graham or the President, needs to explain this to the Christians of this country.
