I've been reading about it. An interesting point that was made by the now dead political opponent to
the Taliban said that they would not last more than 6 months if Pakistan withdrew their aid. Of
course, we don't know if that is true. The dead leader had said he had controlled around 30% of the
country but other estimates put it at 10% to 20%. Bin Laden may have been involved is the
death of the opposition leader to the Taliban. I read about it in The Economist yesterday,
but I heard Bin Laden mentioned in connection to his death last week.

Today, I read the General of Pakistan who is a dictator wants to turn the country into a democracy.
Political views and alliances shift over night these days.
