Remember the companies can buy in the first and last hour(?) I think according to the special rule they made this week. Personally, I think they ought to wait until the price gets more in line with the economic prospects. I'll let them drive them up and buy more puts. I can't see any bright spots in the economy right now. Hell, between BA and the airlines, we just lost about 100k more good paying jobs. I don't know what to think. Interest rate cuts aren't much good if people don't have the ability to pay back borrowed money. I read where capex is about 12% of the spending, and consumer is about 67%. Government makes up the remainder. I don't think we'll collapse, but I think we're bound to linger down here for a while until we start getting some positive signs.knc
