This ain't about good intentions. I don't like cloaking self serving behavior behind good intentions. If we can align our goals with the goals of another group, great, but this is about getting our goals met in an alternative way. A dissident man found to be carrying a gun can be captured, tortured, beaten to death and the body cut to pieces and thrown away to wolves......but I must say, thats not a VERY bad fate in comparision... That is one of the strongest arguments I have ever heard for keeping the 2nd Amendment of the U.S. Constitution in place.
