I see 450 UAL 40 puts bought near Sept 5th
also 450 AMR 35 puts bought Sept 1 or last of Aug.

Month is September and they don't look like they've been sold.

I'm no slueth, just curious because of the previous article.

The cost of buying the the UAL's would have been about 315,000. and they're worth about 945,000 now.

the cost of the AMR puts was about 120,000 and they're worth about 657,000?

Net if sold looks like just shy of 870,000 profit

I'm wondering what was anticipated about airline stocks early Sept that would encourage such a large risk.
