Srex,
I showed what Pro posted as it relates to his homophobic position.

Srex, you need to understand that I'm not against ANY religion...as I told PRO he can do anything behind his church house doors. For example and from various christian church beliefs:
1) Handle snakes
2) Believe that drinking poison will not kill you
3) Plural marriage between ONE man and numerous wives
4) Speaking in tongues

Just don't dictate and force your religion on me. Don't put it in "our" public schools.

Show me one nation in which ONE religion and ONE government operate on equal footing and that country doesn't have chaos. What is so great about this nation is the freedom that allows anyone to practice their religion as long as it doesn't interfer with another religion. To my knowledge the only time that the Federal Government has told one religion that they couldn't practice one aspect of their religion that was independent of intruding on another person's religion is the Mormom Church in Utah. The Federal Government would not allow them to become a member of the Union unless they gave up the practice of multiple marriages between one man and numerous wives. Surely Pro wouldn't be for this practice, but then he turns around and wants to force HIS Beliefs on other. I hope you get the point.
Srex, I spent my summer vacation this year at the Chautaqua Inst. Would highly recommend it for anyone to attend. Srex, do a little investigating and find out who founded and who operates this WONDERFUL institution that I suggest for others to attend.
Srex, my daughter goes to a university that I pay over $25,000 a year for her to attend. I do it gladly....would you like to guess who founded this wonderful institution that I gladly pay my hard earned money.

I have no problem with a person's faith....great. Live a life that cares about all humanity....stop the hatred because of skin color and sexual orientation and for a person not having the same religion that you have! Think about what religion has done to the native Americans of this country. Think about what the Southern Baptist did to family values as it relates to African=Americans.

My problem with Pro is that he has crossed the line with HIS faith being better than mine. I've posed a very simple question to him and one that he avoids because it points out to him that his faith ISN"T better than mine. He can't defend it so he mocks me with his Bible quotes. I would welcome the opportunity to give him some of his Bibles quotes and would welcome him to defend them. For starts I will confess that my wife has more academic degrees than I do and she is smarter than I am....I admit that! Ask PRO what his Bible saves about his wife?
