IMO your sense of proportions are out of proportion.> So the "politically correct" thought police are excused because they haven't matched the horrors that real hate groups have committed? You just hit upon one of my other pet peeves, moral relativism. <There is very little that people can do about other people who harbor prejudice and hate. But by watching what we say, and teaching our kids to watch what they say, so as not to add any fuel to the fire, is probably a good place to start.> Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree here. Like I said, real change comes from within, not from without. I believe that watching what you say should be the result of, not the cause of, the lifting of ignorance. <I hope you can get a few good nights of rest and get away from the stresses from recent events - and may be rethink some of this stuff.> I think you're mistaken. My views haven't been affected at all by the terrorist attacks. In fact, I find it very heartwarming to see public displays of religion no longer being decried as "insensitive" to believers of other religions. Maybe now the workplace will no longer be hostile toward the displaying of a cross, or a Christmas tree, or a star of David, or whatever. And yes, I do weep whenever the jerks take out their anger on Arab-Americans who not only had nothing to do with the attacks, but are actually just as horrified as we are. That's true insensitivity, among other things. Tenchusatsu
