It'll be tough, but I think they can squeeze it out one more quarter. Definitely is a huge drain on their cash flow, but as you say they'd probably gnaw their leg off (ie, assume more debt) rather than cut it.

Hmmm, yielding over 7% now? I bet they keep it one more Q, then the top line will suck so bad that they'll have no choice.

Recently have been buying F.....even if dividend gets cut, much bad news is in, and this company is one of those immediately shut down when the terrorist attack on WTC and Pentagon became public knowledge.....automakers are like the airlines....the government won't dare let them go to pot--they have the facilities and manpower to support defense efforts, as well as consumer whims.
