Obviously the economic times have now changed beyond anyone could have imagined.

Duh! No one could predict precisely what would happen on a day-to-day basis, but it was clear to me (and at least to some others) that the long bull-market had generated enormous excesses and that the various reasons why bear-markets happen can be summed-up in one word -- "excesses".

And Dont tell me you knew the current economic climate would arrive at that time, because we both know it is NOT true.

Of course I did. What do you think I meant when I talked about an environment where interest-rates were "rising relentlessly"?

On the other hand, it was you who had clearly deluded yourself that economic cycles had been repealed and that it was blue skies as far as the eye can see, thanks to the new economy. Just look at your own words -- the economy becoming dependent on technology at an "exponential" rate and the internet's "explosive revolution". To make things very clear, you also helpfully added, "by looking into the present and future these stocks are extremely undervalued". So there!

Your bearishness has been for all the wrong reasons, and my bullishness was for all the right reasons at the time.

Yeah, right! You were bullish because stock prices were going up, and I was bearish because I was jealous of you! Gimme a break!
