the West will find the money to bribe the Palestinians and Israelis so they can achieve a solution and bring economic prosperity in the area on both sides Well maybe. But you also have to bribe Egypt and Syria, who've been doing everything in their power to prevent a solution, and you have to get rid of Arafat, who has been bribed in every conceivable way already and has reneged on his promises to everybody. Then you have to crush Hamas, and rebuild the level of trust up from absolute zero.
