BGR, hello again, after a long time. As you are so kind to acknowledge the achievements of dedicated bears, perhaps you will not mind my saying that my trading fund is up 95% since the start of the year 2001. To explain this in detail would require a very lengthy list of trades and commitments. Certain persons (I.e. Isopatch and SliderOnTheBlack) become livid when I make such claims, but it's just a fact that I need only justify to myself and my family, whose actual wlefare depends on these decisions. BEARX has come a very long way in the last three days towards making its long-term holders whole. But it certainly would have been better for me to place my own short bets--as I began to do late in 1999.
