Housing starts down 6.9%. DOW Futures down 120+ Nas Futures down 24 S&P down 16

What we likely see in the next few days is the actual result of the WTC bombings. Prior to this point cash infusion and support by Governments and Banks has created an artificail market. As the money dwindles and the market is allowed to take its course, we will likely see more capitulation in stocks in general.

Some sectors to watch for bounces on a "strike" by the US, are Oil/Gas for a continued short, Tech for a continued short, Security companies, ie biometrics for another pop, Gold for a pop, Transports for a continued short, Semi conductors for a continued short, Real Estate stocks for a new short, Defence stocks for another pop, Banks for a short till 1 October.

I am going to buy my second 1/3 of SW for a very LT hold if it falls below 13.50

Just a note on a "dead duck that is moving. HML bottomed at 3.80 and has steadily risen since the WTC bombings. Probably on the basis of the need for an artificial blood supply in the future based on the past week. I will buy gold in the next 2 days as the latest pullback is still a product of a worked commodity by his nibs Greenspan.
