Iran may be a problem later, BUT Iran probably has been given assurances of the USA protecting their backside flank if they bottle up the Afgans. "hard enough to look good" IT'S PASS LOOKING GOOD! I'm personally pleased that you prefaced your opinion with "I think..." And I can fully understand your continued unhappiness with the results of the last election. However, what your post implies to me (like a few other posts recently, and I am sure like more to come) is a thought process based solely on your own emotions. Thankfully, your conclusions about what the President is thinking and planning are flawed. Sniping statements such as A less than half measure is appropriate for a leader that got less than half the vote. only demonstrate an underlying thought process that is clouded and murky. Why do you snipe at the administration about what is happening? Why bother to post things like IRAN is more than he can manage ? It's not "he"...it's us you bonehead. You may not be aware that you were directly related to someone that died violently last Tuesday morning. You were. You yourself had a great uncle or a second cousin or a brother or a sister-in-law that got murdered. My sincere condolences to you, and I mean that very sincerely. The event has brought a focus to a something that most ordinary Americans don't have much time to address - evil people, though there are only a handful of them compared to the rest of us, can cause severe damage to civilization. Rather than recognize the threat to the entire civilized world, (and it's been a threat since civilization began) - and the opportunity to address and handle the threat - you choose to focus on some personal mental picture of injustice that happened to you a year ago, and use that to make logically challenged remarks about what will happen in the future. I have no illusions about you and the few others that hang out here and pick scabs on the leadership of the United States. You are not going to change your mind, and you'll continue to make the same sort of posts that you have all along. I'm not even going to bother telling you again what you are missing. I don't care, because it doesn't matter. In less than 2 years, the entire planet will be a much safer place, thanks to the United States and its allies. Afganistan will be at peace. Iran will be under control. Lots of evil bastards will be dead, and not a lot of innocent bystanders will get in the way. So go ahead on and type your bullshit. While you are dreaming about what you think is wrong about the past, the rest of us are supporting what is right about the future. Go ahead on and denigrate the administration of the United States while we are in the middle of a military alert. Say whatever you want. My response is: Screw you. It's going to be better despite your bullshit.
