I think the term crusade always implies the "with God on our side" argument. In general, people are very careful about using this word because of its implications. And no, I've never heard those terms. I've certainly heard "war" on drugs, crime, etc.

I think we would all benefit from an explanation of "jihad" from someone who knows more about it than you and I.

About Hitler: If you are so deluded that there was no Christian-based motivation for exterminating six million Jews, we have no common ground for further discussions about this.

frankly believe religious conflicts, while real, are coincidental to the main issue.

We have veered, then, far off my point that much aggression and destruction has been done in the name of Christianity. That was my point.
