Interesting expose on the Taliban on CNN tonight. Certainly glad I don't have to live under such an oppressive government.

Of course the Taliban can justify slaughtering civilians. It is the norm for the Taliban. Those "religious clerics" are nothing more than immoral thugs in pretty garments. Unfortunately we trained those Aholes so we share in the blame for what they have done.

We appear to be getting a lot of good foreign intelligence as to who the terrorist groups are and where they are.

India identifies terrorist training camps

India says these images captured from video show terrorist training camps.

CNN New Delhi Bureau

NEW DELHI, India (CNN) -- India has been working with the United States in the days following last week's hijacking attacks by sharing the locations of what it said are terrorist training camps.

Indian intelligence officials said that for more than a decade Islamic militants have been training in Afghanistan and Pakistan for a jihad, or holy war.

Sources told CNN that more than 120 camps are operating in the two countries. The camps are small, they are easy to move, and they can be difficult to track by satellite because of the region's rough terrain.

Some Indian defense officials predicted it could take a decade for the United States to root them all out.

India recently released videos shot in what it said were training camps operating in Pakistan.

The videos show men training with machine guns and heavy weapons. The men are shown practicing daring maneuvers, firing their weapons as they hang from ropes and run through obstacles.

In one case, the men are depicted using a picture of former U.S. President Bill Clinton for target practice.

It is not clear who financed the camp, but insignias and slogans visible on the video suggest it could have been operated by a group called Al-Badr.

Al-Badr has said it is not associated with Osama bin Laden, the alleged terrorist mastermind named as the prime suspect in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

The group does share a similar ideology.

"Islam must rule the world and until Islam does rule the world we will continue to sacrifice our lives," Al-Badr spokesman Mustaq Aksari told CNN in an interview four months ago.

He said the group recruits fighters from around the world, including the United States.

Truth or fiction? My bet is truth.

Anyone worrying about "someone" sending "someone else's children" to die in jingoistic "foreign adventures" shouldn't. This is a war where "The Front" is everywhere. There are no "front lines". The "home front" is every bit as much the "front lines" as any country in the ME or central Asia. The implications of "Jihad" carried out on a global scale almost forces all who reject bowing the knee to it's practitioners to become soldiers in opposition. The BODY BAGS are filling already on the southern tip of Manhatten Island. Do I have to specify longitude and latitude? Special Note: Manhatten Island is nowhere near Saigon, Hue, Dien Ben Phu, Seoul, Pyonyang, or any other location in east Asia.

Perhaps there are enough police and national guard to handle domestic infiltration, but I doubt it. I expect that before it is all over the United States of America will have to establish a militia and deputization program that will be under the command and control of the National Guard and or the FBI. To kill the numbers of Americans necessary to further their aims, the enemy must come to America. They already have. Due to the nature of the weapons available to the enemy EVERYONES children are at risk. What will we do?

Good morning.

Wow, this morning's rally faded faster than I imagined it would. Happy to be on the sidelines. I hope JimP is trading out of his ONIS as I type, a lot of tech seems headed toward, well, zero.

Interesting thing--while CNBC was doing its furrowed brow, things are no doubt going to get better soon show at the open, Bloomberg (remember Doomberg?) was simply laying it out: whatever happened at the close yesterday is over for now, bleak, bleak, bleak.
