Ibexx - Thank you for posting the article about replacement computers due to the WTC disaster.
No one should want to profit from the misfortune of others - but this article underscores the importance that computer technology plays in the financial markets.

Ibexx, Re: "THE COMPUTERS
Billions Will Be Spent on Replacing Technology"

I was wondering when an article like that was going to come out.

Ibexx,
My firm is still down and we have one generator running one air conditioner in a computer room that is now at 87+ degrees. We still dont know when we can reopen. I am wondering also about the long term upgrade that need to be made by folks who were unaffected but vulnerable to this type of thing all over the nation. Dell announced today that they were cancelling or limiting attendance(not sure) at their conference in Austin and doing it all on the web. Storage companies should benefit i would think. I would be interested in any and all comments as i realize i know very little about what companies will actually do going forward. mike
