Fiscal stimulus of the kind that happens with war efforts will not be enough, IMHO, to bring enough increased economic activity. The debt overhang is too large -- see the article I posted. Someone else posted another nice article from the Von Mises institute on this fallacy, today.

Long gold and patient --- a real test in the confidence in the CON men is coming, IMO.

Your other post is right on -- jobs will be the key.

Interesting stuff, thanks much. The urge to play the bounce is getting irresistable, while freinds tell me that their retail clients are crapping their pants. Nibbling on a few things myself for the trade, yet we all know the worst levels of unemployment/earnings/defaults are quite a ways off...
