Andrew, RE: "What do threaders think about AMAT or NVLS LEAPS in this market?"

The 34.13 price set last Dec would have been The Bottom for AMAT if only that Unfortunate thing last week did not happen. We saw AMAT went down below 28 and we really don't know if we already reached the Bottom. There is going to be some kind of a War but the Fed, Congress and the Administration are going to do something about the Economy. The Stock Market always comes back.

Last Friday when AMAT was still above 40 --- I SAID, "When trading resumes Monday, should stocks go down 5% - 10% lower --- LEAPs would be more attractive to acquire. AMAT LEAPs would be a must to have at these levels."

Yes I bought AMAT LEAPs again. NVLS Options are more expensive than AMAT's so I didn't buy them. They are a must to have also but at this stage it's really hard to find Cash to use. To raise New Money, I have to resort to selling Stocks and LEAPs to buy Other LEAPs and Short Term Options. Whenever I have extra cash, no matter how little they are, I buy with them Out of the Money Penny LEAPs of different Tech Companies. QQQs are cheap. Last time I bought QQQ 2003 Jan 60 at 85 cents/sh; would like to buy Jan 50 for 1.30/sh but ran out of cash.

I'm happy to see AMAT Threaders on a Buying Binge especially LEAPs of AMAT and others. I'm sure they will make a Lot of Money later.
