The United States on Wednesday praised President Musharraf's bold stand on Afghanistan, saying it understood Pakistan's concerns about India taking advantage of the evolving situation. Describing Musharraf's address as "important", White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said the US was pleased with the actions being taken by Pakistan in the wake of the terrorist attacks.

My feeling on this whole situation is that the fundamental
Islamic movement is comprised of poor , ignorant masses
who have been whipped into a hate frenzy by a smaller
number of militant psychotics. I think their is a good
possibility that these large numbers will shrink rapidly
when the shooting starts. I am reminded of those coward
Iraqis who turned tail from the start. Afterall, they
werent really soldiers, instead just blustery numbers.

The real war will become more of a guerrilla war with the ignorant, coward masses stepping back. As the Russians
learned, this will, no doubt be difficult and lengthy.
This is the only kind of war these militants know.
