Sold *some* Level 3 (lll) @ 84 and put the proceeds into Polycom (PCTL).
>PictureTel (PCTL: news, chart, profile) rose more than 14 percent after the Hart-Scott-Rodino anti-trust act waiting period was terminated for the company's proposed merger with Polycom (PLCM: news, chart, profile), whose shares are down 41 cents, or 1.7 percent, to $24.29. As of the closing bell on Sept. 18, 28 million shares of PictureTel common stock, roughly 53 percent of its outstanding shares, were tendered to the offer. Polycom shares soared following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks as investors theorized less business travel would result in higher demand for its videoconferencing products.
