I agree. It was funny a minute ago to watch the talking heads on CNBC jubilant about the Dow's recovery with such speed from the down 300+ of only minutes earlier. It was supposedly caused by the announcement of the new GE chairman that the GE earnings estimate would be unchanged by the current events. In spite of the fact that CNBC is owned by GE and these cyphers are employed by the company they are pushing the stock of, they seemed totally clueless to the crassness of their actions. Even more humorous was their inability to mention that this is triple witching friday and maybe ,just maybe the market had been pumped up to keep the brokerage community from having to pay up on their trade positions. But no that would never happen.
It will be interesting to watch and see the rest of this day...
