FWIW, there's an article up on Schwab's "real time news" that suggests there have been "a bunch of" presales of the StarCat. It attributes that information to Salomon Smith Barney. I'm sorry I can't provide a URL; the article is by Timothy Prickett Morgan and it says it's from Computergram International Issue 4255, Sept. 20, 2001 -- perhaps it's also on the Web someplace.
