It is hard to imagine the grief and depression that many in the NY financial community are experiencing. It is also hard to find any silver lining in recent events, but the following is a strangely optimistic article from Salon. Perhaps the silver lining is that this tragedy will reunite the country and end the Balkanization of the US that we have been experiencing for the last 30 years.
