>> For what its worth I think Bush has gone a great job so far in dealing with this terrible tragedy. <<

and he will continue to do a great job if he exacts justice and retaliation for loss of american life, then does the right thing by pursuing a policy of disengagement of our military from places like the middle east and the balkans. it would also help if he let china and taiwan settle their own disputes, but it appears as if he wants to interfere there as well.

unfortunately it looks like he is going to continue our policy of hegemonism, imperialism, tyranny and interventionism by waging an all out war on the muslim world. more american civilians will lose their life in the process until either the radical islamists are obliterated or we cannot tolerate the american casualties.

patrick buchanan summed it up best last night on fox news. he said, do you want america to be an empire or a republic?

we all know what happened to the british "empire", the roman "empire", the spanish "empire", etc.

>> This war could last 10 years.:( <<

well after that pathetic excuse for a president hobbled our military over the past eight years it might take 10 years just to get our military back to full strength.

James,

I could not agree more. I can't think of any moves that would have been better under the circumstances. He is exceeding my expectations whatever they were.
