Ansett (one of the two main airlines in the land of Oz) went belly up last week. Now Qantas has 93% of the domestic market. Volume at Sydney and Melbourne fell 40% since the previous week. Virgin Blue is the only competitor now. Cathay Pacific might be allowed to fly some internal routes and ACCC is looking at allowing other foreign airlines in.
