I don't think we should expect much immediate action - just guessing, but I don't think Bin Laden would have left himself available or even locatable in the wake of the attack. He wants the US to flatten a village or two full of civilians to alienate world opinion against the US anti-terrorism campaign.

Bush would be smarter not to strike unless he is 200% sure about results.
