I agree completely with that article, Fred. The Taliban, so far, is keeping to strict adherence to fundamental Islamic law. They hope this will appeal to their supporters outside of Afghanistan, not inside.

Their only hope for survival comes from outside. Those who've lived under their asinine rule know they are not holy, but assholey.
