Investment demand may indeed go up, but could easily be offset by reduction in jewelry demand by consumers with no confidence in a recessionary environment. GFMS mentions this is their press release. Remember jewelry is about 10X investment demand, so a 5% drop in jewelry needs a 50% increase in investment to offset - it will be a wash (IMHO)

Thought you said 30% two years ago, leaving only three left on the clock <grin>
I will go for a cycle bottom near 2300mt (down about 10%) in either 2004/2005.
