12:27 ET Sears Tower Threat : Rumor circulating on trading floors that the Sears Tower in Chicago is being evacuated. Has not been confirmed at this time, but said to be contributing to the selling that has pushed markets to new intraday lows.

However, wiretapping laws have grown far more stringent as a result of his abuses. Note how Ashcroft made a very common sensical request that wire-tapping warrants cover individuals and not just specific phones?

But she might be the target of other parties who don't have the constraints of the FBI... including non-US entities.

And if she's using a cordless phone, she likely wouldn't hear anything at all.. they would just pick up the wireless signal.
