biz.yahoo.com I will send a note to the personnel office of the hotels in Hawaii suggesting that laid-off employees should be thankful that it is not worse -- they need not be alarmed because most of them are actually not unemployed because there are no jobs for them to look for -- I am sure they will find that very comforting. Their former employers can also tell them to check the papers for the facts next month and avoid feeling alarmed about anything -- just stay home and wait for further instructions.
