Thanks for the response.

Based on the latest 10-Q, WIND can buyback the convert issue at 102 beginning 08/2000 with the price scaling down to 100 by 2FQ/2002. WIND bought back $11.3 million in 2FQ/2001.

However, WIND's balance sheet looks the weakest I think I have ever seen it at least since 1997:

-Cash and short-term investment of only $59.7 million,
-Current assets of $174 million,
-Current Liabilities of $141 million,
-Convertible Debt due in 08/2002 of $129million, and
-Stockholders' equity of only $686 million (down from over $1 billion at FYE 2001).

If they issue debt it looks as if they would almost have to add an equity sweetener in order to keep the interest cost down. But with a stock price this low, I don't know if I like the idea of another convertible issue.

Still hanging in there but getting very nervous. Based on the lack of posts while the stock languishes at these prices others must not think WIND is much of a bargain. Anyone?
