Telemarker, how bout some symbols for those MLPs you are buying?

Another worthy airline that will survive is LUV. I'm trying to buy ORCL at this morning's price. Bot AOL for LT and DELL for trade.

Yield is near and dear to my heart. The case for yield as a fundamental business and risk-reducing matter is still lost upon most, I think. Would be happy to discuss if there's any interest

TM, a great deal of interest here. 85% cash and very concerned about increasingly crappy MM yields. Not really interested in playing bear market bounces. Looking for good, reasonably safe yields in recession-resistant businesses. I have felt for a long time that the mantra of "dividends are unimportant" is one of the great Wall Street scams of recent years. Without an intrinsic return to the shareholder, hell, lets face it, we're all speculators.

Not familiar with some of your acronyms. MLP? RIC? A description of how you do your research would be appreciated.

TIA,
John
