The graph at highlandenergy.com has been updated and it looks like lift-off. Tonights anecdotes from www.amgdata.com should provide some indication as to whether stock selling this last week was mainly domestic or foreign.

What really concerns me about this "war"

is that we'll never know if and when it's over. Can't get more uncertain than that. Kinda like the "war on drugs"? We're getting our butts kicked in that one, aren't we?

Financial markets don't like uncertainty (news flash!). There doesn't seem to be any conceivable near-term resolution of this. That's quite disturbing.

Just a thought, worth what you paid for it.

Not one airline but definitely a lot fewer. Midway is gone, Continental will probably be gone by year end, many smaller companies will also fold. There will probably be at least one merger involving United, American, Delta, or Northwest by year end.
