Bob: I think the 10-day figures that Don Hays uses are good. I have a file on my desktop computer that covers his use of the ARM's completely in his words. I am on my laptop now so I cannot read it. From memory, Hays sees 1.5 as a signal that there will be a further decline. His 1.3 without a subsequent 1.5 indicates oversold and a bottom. I have the 1.5s that you have also. So his 1.5 signaled a further decline which we received. There is a 1.3 without a 1.5 in June 2001. That is the instance where the shares component distorted the read. The shares component are now reaching consistency with the volume component.
