Dubya done good...!

...as I watched his congressional address this evening, I could feel the collective angst begin to diminish.

Perhaps we just can't sustain such a high personal VIX {grin} level or, mebbe it was the feeling that, "hey - he's gonna be able to get through this speech OK" or, maybe it was the simple realization --

-- that it's just a MESS everywhere; a bloody industrial accident, mate ~ and we've just got to clean it all up, do the best we can for all these walking wounded, put the big wheel back on the economy, hook up the tow-lines to the wheel and pull the silly Japs and Germans out of the muck-hole they've fallen in to :-/

" to fix " ...is a peculiarly American english word ~ it has an enormous number of meanings, not all of them "good" ~ and unlike the usual OldWorld --> NewWorld difficult-to-translate dilemma, it is perhaps our best example of a uniquely American cultural contribution: we know-how to fix things ;-)

So, here I am this evening, hoping that the BigDudes(with the heavy artillery) behind us can still manage to lob some shells over our heads at the bear bastards sure to come at us again tomorrow ~ 'cuz I'm damn near outta ammo, 1x/2x/3x/4x

hang tough, the SnP ain't goin' to friggin' zero !
