Suuuurely you're not insinuating that your company's software isn't open source! ;)

That sounds like a capital idea. I will, however, consult you personally in the future when I have my inevitable problems with getting the compiler to work (Visual Studio and I have this sort of hate/hate relationship that goes back a bit).

Huh? Isn't that a unix command??

Hmmm. I just tried typing that, but it displayed the following:
"Enter new time: ^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A
^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A
^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A
^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A^A
^A^A^A^A^A^A^A"

and waits like a prompt (I have to hit CTRL-C to get it to move on).

*Edit* I realized what time <nul is supposed to do. To get around my inability to properly type in a command, I made a text file called "enter" which contains a newline only, and I'm doing time <enter, and I thank you for helping me to figure out how to time benchmarks on the command line. :)

Woohoo! It worked!!!

The only problem is that I can't see the start time because of all the compiler messages that get in the way. Any suggestions?
