No, but my optimism is now on hold. Huge margin call dump in DIS today (good buy you made there). Then someone (HUGE) dumped millions of F shares, while I was actually sitting there contemplating adding another increment to my position in the stock. Thank gawd I didn't. Reality dictates that some companies will be announcing cuts in their dividends--this means mutual funds specializing in income-producing stocks might have to dump shares. Also probable that laid-off workers are tapping out their stock funds to raise cash. And you never know when another one of those mega-buck margin calls will tank the market. Sorta like dodging land-mines.

That is a historical high more or less. matching October 1998 spike. Nice 4DML. BTW, now is the time for the patriotic buyers to come out! Buying on Monday had no effect except to add to the margin meltdown later this week. Being patriotic does not mean not being sensible. And I believe this applies to all things, not just money matters. Let's do what is best for the country, what is best for the world, and most of all what is best for our children. We Americans have clearly pulled together. Let's show what GOOD we can do with all of that resolve.
