Maybe I'm overly optimistic. But I do think the Muslim Fundamentalists won't stand a chance of gaining ascendancy over the West if we are as vigilant as we ought to be, and we do things to "delegitimize" the claims (real and imaginary) and excuses of the terrorists. Also, Americans overseas must be seen to be "beautiful" people. BTW, I'm not thinking about the young sexy chicks. All that talk about being subjugated by Islamic Fundamentalism is fear-mongering/BS or a crock. It seems to me that in order to gain full support of the world community so that the US will not be bothered by bleeding hearts at home and abroad, that fear-mongering is being exploited to the fullest extent possible.
