indexit - I'm certainly not going to go out and defend wall street but I don't recall them telling people to buy Monday (I remember hearing b.s. about not selling and not short selling etc) - I know there were a lot of chain e-mails sent around and clamoring on message boards such as this to buy on Monday as some sort of patriotic thing to do ... which while a thoughtful idea wasn't very smart ..... an old adage in gambling is bet with your head not with your heart and that applies to investing as well - knee jerk investments based on emotion is a terrible strategy.

I think you are right , whenever they say to do something you must do the opposite. I feel for the small guy as well , what have you been doing lately , into anything ? I am waiting for the bounce , my guess is this Monday .
