panic is tomorrow or it probably ain't happenin' ... since we'll probably have hit something or someone by early next week from the sound of the speech. Have to admit, it was a good speech. I wanted him to say he was committed to doing a lot here at home -- not exactly thrilled with a new cabinet position and the name either: Homeland Security. Man, that sounds like something that could be perverted into something really terrible not many years hence. Toppling the Taliban is going to be difficult and very hard for the American people to swallow once it gets started in earnest. (We both know he made that list of demands long enough that there is no way they could meet them.) I don't know if all the hi-tech munitions are going to make any easier for us than it was for the Russians ...
