So the easiest way to monitor you is via sniffing on the landside with the help from the carriers.

I was referring to Law Enforcement obtaining a warrant from CDMA carrier providers to track calls from specific cell phones and/or recipients of those calls.

What I was trying to explain to Art is that with the carrier "on board" and access to his switching network, you can record anything and everything specific to particular cell phone, the data packets of which are specificallly addressed. The traditional security of frequency hopping might be effective for preventing outside monitoring, but if you have access to the switching hardware, there's nothing you can't listen to.

Btw, I see that GW is ramping up his demands of the Taleban. Now he wants physical access to all training faciliites in Afghanistan, as well as EVERY Al-Queda member being turned over to the US, and not just Bin Laden.
